This may look like my first quilt 'Pastel Pleasures' but it's not.
The first quilt was made with the intention of going to a shelter in Florida. I'm part of the efforts of the 'Quilters for Comfort' group from Artistic Thread Works. Since it was my first quilt ever, I decided to keep it and make another one for the shelter.
This is very similar, but not exact. Actually, I like this one better, practicing some free motion quilting on the 'word' blocks. Those embroidery designs came from www.windstarembroidery.com.
The colors are a little different and I prefer this one, but it's not my first, so I'll keep the other one. There are embroidered roses, design coming from www.nitasplace.com. Again, I've used the Quilt As You Go method which I learned from Beth who is part of the 'Quilters for Comfort' group.
